HIVE Block Loyal

My daily grind includes a concerted effort toward HIVE activity. It's important for me to remain active on a daily basis. I don't have to. I don't have a boss that is telling me to. There isn't a desperate narrative or an unfortunate way of life that is making me do so.

I don't owe shit to anyone in the space and nobody owes me a goddam thing here.

I do by my own capabilities and not having a herded sheep mentality, while respecting a handful of folks that make this blockchain badass and the community, which I admire very much based on their content, their development efforts and the pure determination that people have to contribute to this ecosystem.

The very few I run across who are just in it for a minute until they move on to the next shiny new object I bid adieu without batting an eye, because during my online marketing journey, I see it all the time and I myself bounced when shit didn't go my way when I was going about it the wrong way.

Growing up in the hood, back in Brooklyn, New York; I had to have that type of mentality. You had to fit in, buck up and stand your ground to earn respect. No one would ever fear me, but I was quiet and they say the quiet one's are those you have to be more afraid of. I found myself in predicaments, but managed to bob and weave.

Honestly, that wasn't what I was about. I just wanted to hit the streets hard without hurting anyone else and not give a damn what happens to me and do things on my terms. I was offered opportunities to deal drugs, but I chose to be the user instead. I was stupid and thought that wouldn't affect my family or relationships with others. Both dealing or using it is a messy world to be in. Not worth it.

I grew up being loyal to the streets, because in a sense that is where I was getting my street hood education. I have an Associates Degree that I earned late in life, but I also was educated by staying close to people that were feared.

Loyalty is a hard thing. It's difficult to be loyal and even more difficult to earn it, so I keep it simple and have limited that loyalty and resisted wanting it so bad.

So, my loyalty has been simple and perhaps pedestrian.

The predictable family or friend, significant other, favorite sports team, etc.

But going hardcore, my health and fitness became a source of dedication for me and subsequently the place I workout at and it's community I have been loyal to for years.

I give my time under the orange lights the credit for extending my life, so it earned my loyalty.

That's about a solid almost 9 years that I've been a member of that company and it has been worth every single penny I've put into it.

Then came HIVE. Now, I'm not going to get over dramatic here; but it's more than a blockchain to me. Heck, I knew NOTHING about blockchains and crypto before I became a HIVER.

I owe **CTP** a massive amount of gratitude for introducing me to this amazing blockchain and community through it's training.

When I came here, there was just one thought in my mind and that was "how am I going to make money?." That is the affiliate marketer's mentality. It is what it is. I can't apologize for that.

The thing is, that in a very short time, I happily pivoted to not only wanting to earn on HIVE like everyone else; but at all the different facets that this blockchain offers.

You see, I don't see the price of HIVE as my sole purpose.

Let's rewind back a bit from my earlier days, where I gained street hood knowledge and how valuable I believe that was for me.

Also, how my path to health and fitness is no different on HIVE.

Those experiences above has brought me to this space and I look at the big picture. I am loyal to the process here on HIVE.

I show up daily, I engage and I stack.

In a blink of an eye, I'm heading towards 4,000 HIVE Power and other growth spurts with HBD, LEO and the CTP universe including ListNerds and Index. All this during a bearish market and still being a puppy. I've only been active on HIVE for less than two years, although I recently reached two years this past August.

I've taken a page from those who are all in on this HIVE journey, especially those that were here before the fork and I'm a believer. I see the effort, the passion and the work; because I'm not about what is HIVE doing for me.

Now, transparency is important.

I have a J.O.B., I workout 5 to 6 days a week and I have a fiancé who has kids and I've been in their lives for over 7 years and we have tons of bills just like most folks.

With all that said, I find time to put more than enough of it towards HIVE and I fully expect to ride or die with this community until we are all looking back at how staying loyal to the process allowed us to realize our dreams and goals.
