I've kept this story to myself for a long time, though i have told a few close friends of mine throughout the years.

This is a story that happened to be during my early twenties when i went on my first ever solo backpacking journey across Eastern Europe.

Am I proud of what I experienced? Well...i'm grateful for the experience...but if i told you there wasn't a hint of guilt (and their still is even after all these damn years) with what happened then I'd be lying to you.

I do believe that we should all live life to the fullest and sometimes you just have to take things as they come. Life is what you make of it, i remind myself often.

I hope you enjoy the story.
