I really wanted to test this out to see how the ad works, so here we go.

First you log into dclick.io by using Steem Connect. 

The left pane has the following options:

Overview
Monetize
Advertize
Delegate
FAQ

You click Monetize and you will see the post editor and ad settings. The post editor was pretty basic but it allows for a title, body, the ability to drag and drop or select adding files, and tags.

The ad settings allow you to choose between text or image ads, English or Korean for language, renew ad when finished selection box, support dclick selection box.

I clicked support @dclick, so they will receive 7% and the advertiser, in this case @magicdice, receives 3%. I always try to support those who ad value to Steem. 

I guess this will be 10% of my post payout. But, I could potentially make that back, plus more, if people click on my ad. The other thing to consider is, will this pay you more than if you just added your own link straight from @magicdice. They already have a 10% referral program by adding a link with your Steem username. That being said, if people want to use dclick.io to advertise other things, they may not have a referral program like @magicdice.

Finally there is a warning for abusive behavior. I'm assuming if they figure out that you are gaming the clicks of ads, they will suspend your right to place ads.

Overall, I think the site functions well, I like the idea of advertising and monetizing some space in my Steem posts. I do wish my first ad was not @magicdice since I already have a referral link, but I'm sure there will soon be more options.

When I check back next time, I will take a look at the advertise, delegate, and faq tabs. I will also be able to look at the overview tab and see how well this ad is doing. So, check back for part 2 of this review!
