Ask LEO - What's good on Solana?
The Solana eco-system is one that I have never delved into. It has always been nagging away at me that I should learn something about it, but I have just never gotten around to it.

Time to change that.

# Airdrop.

A new project is launching, and in what seems an odd move it is airdropping its native token (SUNNY) to people participating in the Osmosis project that I have written about before. Odd, because Osmosis is a Cosmos eco-system project, and Sunny is launching on Solana. Maybe it is just looking for an active, dynamic community to get its tokens to, maybe there are some future cross-chain links that are not apparent yet (IBC on Solana anyone??). Or maybe this new project "[Sunny Aggregator](https://twitter.com/SunnyAggregator)" is just simping after the Osmosis founder [Sunny Aggrawal](https://twitter.com/sunnya97)?

Regardless, OSMO holders and LP's will get an airdrop of SUNNY, which is pretty cool. The Sunny Aggregator project describes itself as a "Cross-chain DeFi yield aggregator", and SUNNY will be its governance token. I have no idea about the project, or what to expect, but I'm also never one to say no to "free money". Here is the [Medium post](https://medium.com/sunny-aggregator/sunny-announces-airdrop-to-osmosis-osmo-holders-6e787c4502ac) with details about the airdrop. It is good to note that a major part of this is still open, and will be based on a snapshot sometime soon. Even if you haven't been on OSMO yet, it's not too late to get started and earn a place in the SUNNY airdrop. Will it be worth it? No idea.

Having learnt the lessons of past airdrops (UNI airdrop shortsightedness for example), these days I actively hold and participate in any new projects that feel like airdropping to me. Sifchain and Osmosis are both looking promising for me, with the former having turned a corner and about to activate IBC, and the later becoming a core (and important) component of my current and future portfolio.

# What's good on Solana?

I have asked around in the new [Sunny discord](https://discord.gg/bWnauEG77P) about wallets for Solana, and have set up a [Phantom wallet](https://phantom.app/) - a fairly familiar type of browser extension to add to the Hive Keychain/Metamask/Keplr collection.

Obviously I'll have to pick up some SOL at some stage soon, to have the base token for the eco-system, but beyond that I'm interested to hear from people about what else is interesting, or worth a look, around the Solana eco-system. I've seen from a basic google search that there is lots of dApps and things on it. What are people using?

Interested to hear from my LeoFinance friends to see what you are using on Solana - any recommendations?

For those reading this from [Twitter](https://twitter.com/jk6276/status/1424534241170268161) or [Reddit](https://www.reddit.com/r/solana/comments/p0qx3a/hi_solana_im_completely_new_to_solana_what_tips/), hit me up with some recommendations, or advice on how to navigate this eco-system that I have never interacted with before.
