Today I will talk about the future of Bitcoin and SegWit2x tradable on Bitfinex.

They made an announcement 2 days ago regarding their system they launched march 2017 : Chain Split Token.
This way, people can "vote" and "predict" the future of a coin (in a way of trading manner). And here, we are talking about Bitcoin.

Have a look to this announcement and then I will show you how it looks like on Bitfinex.

On Bitfinex, the trades just started so there is not a crazy amount of volume but we can start to understand the beginning of the split during SegWit2x hard fork (I'm not talking about Bitcoin Gold).

Bitfinex split BTC in 2 : BT1 and BT2

BT1 is the Incumbent Bitcoin Blockchain and BT2 represents Bitcoin SegWit2x.

Let's have a look together what's going on :

At the time of the post :
1 x BTC = 4370 $
1 x BT1 = 3239$
1 x BT2 = 1272$

According to these results, we can say that :

BT1 represent 74% of BTC and BT2 represents 29% of BTC.
Because the price is tradable, you don't get a clean 100% though.

But as mentioned in my previous article, I think the trade will change in favour of SegWit2x.

It has just started and not everybody are trading on Bitfinex so I don't think it does show what is really going on in the Bitcoin Community. 
But it is a great tool that Bitfinex provide to kinda get in "control" of the future of Bitcoin.

Will see how things will change in the next couple of week.
