How solar energy has helped to reduce the cost of electricity
Every day things are improving and great things are coming up, solar energy was an idea I had heard but now it has come to my doorstep, people are using it to generate light for themselves and their families, most importantly it has helped reduce the cost of electricity, in some countries where electricity bills are worrying, solar energy has helped reduce some costs and provide people with enough light to see their houses at night, cool their drinks and make everything that needs light to be in the right place.

The way I am beginning to see things about electricity is that in the next few years solar energy is going to totally be the new phase of electricity, because even in my country Nigeria, solar energy is not a thing we hear about anymore, we can now see with our eyes, people roaming the streets, selling some torches, simple solar devices that we can keep in the sun and at night, we can use it to see our way in the house.

In some parts of Nigeria, like in the north, where there is too much sunlight, many households use solar energy, they put the solar device on top of the roof, switch it off and go to work and when they come back, the solar panel is fully charged.

I was not so sure about solar devices, when I saw people selling these things, I used to overlook them, thinking it was not good, but I was wrong, solar energy is real and good to be used.

I mean, if man's ideas could get to this point of development of solar energy, in a few years it would be widely used, because solar energy gives you the independence to control your own electricity, in most cases we used to have power cuts, but with solar energy, as long as your inverter panel is fully charged, your light will be stable.

So, if solar energy is widely used and countries no longer need to buy electricity from another, it would be a challenge for some countries like Nigeria that supply electricity to Ghana, cameroon and others, it will affect their revenue to the federal government, I mean, in essence, nothing is static, countries must work so well on their means of generating revenue because things never stop changing.
