"Harmful Curiosity: The Day I Accidentally damaged my dads electrical appliance"

# HELLO HIVE

**I always had this knack to fix things until I started damaging more things than I thought I was repairing them😔 I just couldn't get my hands of these appliances some of which are only minimally damaged until my hands completely sends it got to a state of total damage.**

---

***it got to a point where my dad wouldn't even think twice about who was behind the damage before pointing at me 🤣 and as a kid out of fear knowing fully well that I had done something bad I would deny things with all my strength until i can't deny it any more then i will come up with excuses to back up my actions.***

But then after I have been warned several times I still find myself touching the same thing because I had this conviction that i could fix it even when I had no prior skill or training that would support that hunger.

At one stage I went a little too far and tried fixing a wiring problem that had occurred when no one was at home, at first the whole thing looked as though it was working but just when I tried to putting on the TV I noticed so little sparks that soon became huge once but thankfully there's was no channel available for the sparks to spread and cause any damage "but then what was I thinking?"

I have so many experiences like this on one occasion i tempered with our video player that was having some issues at first but after I did one or two things that I had no idea what I was doing the whole thing began to work.

Today I am actually proud that I made some of this mistakes because it really when I was studying physics especially the electronic part of it because I had learnt so much from destroying so much.

I have met so many people who have learnt a lot like I have getting in trouble but then it is not always right to get in trouble especially when it becomes too consistent for anyone to even have a spark of doubt that you wouldn't temper with this thing.

I can fix things on my own to a certain level before thinking about calling in an expert the whole thing was more like a self taught experience gained on how to do things that requires training.

Curiosity is actually a great thing until it isn't and figuring how things worked is also very good until it leads to some questionable decisions and I learnt that the fact that things looked fixable doesn't mean we should fix it without any prior skill or training.

It sparked so much curiosity in me every day whenever I try fixing something and it gets damaged, this curiosity is part of the reasons why my hunger for tech will keep on growing everyday.
