Sup Steem punks and Steem princesses.

E3 is going on right now and we have a ton of cool game announcements happening in the gaming scene this week.
https://youtu.be/FV63b6empgM During the Bethesda softworks presentation we saw some footage of Fallout 76, Bethesdas new Fallout game. Now I have to say, I have been playing the Fallout series since 1999 when I played Fallout 1 and 2, and I have seen the shifts in this game. We had a massive jump in genres from the isometric turnbased battle games that Fallout 1 and 2 gave us to the 3d first person shooter aspect in the franchise we see now. I believe the genre jump between these games was ABSOLUTELY needed and certainly made the Fallout franchise grow significantly. It finally gave me the chance to actually feel like I was in the wasteland that I explored for all those years in the previous games. Everything that followed was basically gaming gold. Each game has its flaws but Bethesda did a really good job revamping the model of Fallout and continuing its legacy. http://pixelkin.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Fallout76_Vista.jpg [Image source](http://pixelkin.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Fallout76_Vista.jpg)
SO whats the beef with Fallout 76?
This is going to make me sound like an old person. I dont like playing video games online. I understand that is how the industry has shifted, but I dont want my immersion into a game to be ruined by some 12 year old calling me a faggot. Fallout 76 without a doubt will be a Co op online experience. You can tell because in the teaser the characters had gamer tags. and now obviously they said it at E3. I just know its going to be mainly focused on the multiplayer experience. We are talking an entirely online game that is more than likely going to be battle royal style. http://www.ps4news.de/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Fallout-76-Bild-1.jpg
Same junk with a different theme.
Another thing that told me more about this game is that they are releasing it in beta. I believe the reason they are doing this is to obviously test all the bugs in the game. This is definitely something that you see in a lot of experimental online games. I dont like playing multiplayer games that much and I certainly dont like playing video games online. >"This will be an ENTIRELY online game" -Todd Howard The reason why I loved Bethesda so much was because they created some of the best single player experiences of our generation. You didnt not need internet access and certainly didnt have any need for humans to disrupt my immersion. We have seen massive success in the gaming world with them and why wouldnt they dominate the online world? They already have an Elder scrolls online. They defniitely need this as a company ... .but I certainly wont be playing it and I look forward to seeing Fallout 5 on the next gen of consoles.
