0.000 HBDOK word we often hear! But do you know what the word OK means? Here is the explanation!!
One thing we know that the word OK first came from the United States (US). Most people think the word 'OK' is an abbreviation of Okay, but the assumption is wrong. 'OK' itself is actually an abbreviation of 'Oll Korrect', why not 'All Correct' is not that the right writing? So in the year 1839 in the US is the trend of slang or slang language or commonly called slang. In that year also spawned new languages like 'KY' for 'Know Yuse' slang from 'Know Use', 'OW' for 'Oll Wright' a play of 'All Right', and much more. But what still survives in use until now is just 'OK' Also in 1840, the US was holding presidential elections. One of the presidential candidates, Martin Van Buren was nicknamed 'Old Kinderhook' (name of his birthplace in New York), and his supporters then formed a club called 'OK Club'. Then it is very helpful to popularize the term 'OK' although Van Buren finally did not elected this word even lasting to this day. Please Support, Vote and Follow @johntor.
