 Zilliqa is a public blockchain platform, for those of you who are still new think of it as the same idea as Ethereum or Neo which are also platforms that want to make the blockchain technology publicly accessible. When you hear this I want you to get the idea that if you wanted to create your own project using blockchain technology you would be able to because of platforms like Ethereum and Neo which allow you to use their protocols. This is what public blockchain platform means. In other words Zilliqa is just like Ethereum expect better, or that is what they are hoping for. What is supposed to make Zilliqa an upgrade from Ethereum is the ability to handle more transcations per second, or in other words **SCALE.** To be fair many projects are working to build blockchain 3.0 platforms and scale to allow for more transactions per second, but I will tell you why I particularly think Zilliqa is better. <h1> Zilliqa Project Overview Roadmap</h1>  As you can see from the picture above Zilliqa's tesnet is set to launch very soon. And the version 2.0 and the Mainnet are ready to be launched also in 2018 afterwards. These are big milestones that could definitely affect the popularity of Zilliqa and cause it's price to really increase. Remember when Neo had an update and launched there platform, it grew rapidly afterwards. <h1>Zilliqa Token Information</h1>  Right above is some information on the ZIL token. The token is currently available for trading on several markets such as Huobi exchange and [Binance](https://www.binance.com/?ref=18555250) since Jnauary 25th 2018. Its circulating market cap right now is about $300M. <h1>Zillqa History Chart</h1>  The tokens peak is at about $0.16 and the historical low not including the *ICO* price is at about $0.03. The price of Zilliqa token at the time of writing (2018-03-23) is about $0.04. <h1>Reasons why I like Zilliqa and think it can potentially moon in 2018</h1> <h3>1.</h3> *Scalability* is one of the most sought after features in the blockchain today. Congestion is something you have probably heard of and experienced if you are thinking of running a project on the blockchain using the most common platform Ethereum smart contracts. The reason that this is a sought after solution is because to be successful blockchain has to be able to handle the demand and transactions of many made per second. <h3>2.</h3> *Sharding* is a technique that allows for Zilliqa to handle so many transactions per second. But, unlike many other platforms that claim to use this technique Zilliqa is the only one that has a working prototype. Sharding is effective and Zilliqa has proved this by showing they can handle about 2,500 transactions per second. <h3>3.</h3> *Strong Team* We all know that a project is only as good as it's team. A weak team means that their is a smaller chance for success. Zilliqa has a team that has a lot of strong players in blockchain and have worked on successful projects already so they know what success is. <h3>4.</h3> *Relevant Value* The market cap of Zilliqa is only $280M which is much lower then EOS, NANO, AELF, and RHOC (it's competitors). The reason that a project like Zilliqa can come out on top is because in the running for the project to scale the blockchain their an be multiple winners! *Hopefully you get the idea and see the potential in Zilliqa. There is many reasons why it can moon in 2018, and has the right solution for the right problem.
