We often complicate things, and this passage presents us in a simple way true faith, which is not measured in rituals, sacrifices, or appearances; faith is measured in the way we live day to day.

When it speaks of doing justice, it refers to acting with integrity, being correct in our decisions, and treating others fairly even if no one is looking at us at the moment. When we refer to loving mercy, it is not simply about tolerating the other person; it is about being compassionate, as this is the foundation of love. It is also about forgiving and lending a hand to those in need. Finally, it speaks to humbling ourselves before God, and this consists of recognizing that we are not self-sufficient. When we are humble, we are remembering all that we are and that everything we have comes from the hand of God.

In this world, it is very common to seek advantages in every way, to look after only our own needs, and often to put on an appearance. This verse brings us that truth and refreshes us by reminding us that what is essential is justice, mercy, and humility, these three pillars that, if we apply them in our lives, will transform us and also those around us.

> He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?

Micah 6:8

Muchas veces complicamos las cosas y este pasaje nos presenta de manera simple la verdadera fe que esta no se mide en rituales, tampoco en sacrificios o apariencias, la fe se mide en la forma en que vivimos día a día.


Cuándo habla de hacer justicia se refiere a que actuemos con integridad que seamos correcto en nuestras decisiones y que tratemos a las demás personas de manera equitativa aunque nadie nos mire en ese momento. Cuándo nos referimos a amar misericordia no consiste simplemente en soportar a la otra persona, se trata de ser compasivos ya que esto es la base del amor, también se trata de perdonar y darle una mano a quien lo necesite. Por último nos habla de humillarnos delante de Dios y esto consiste en reconocer que no somos autosuficiente, cuando somos humildes estamos recordando todo lo que somos y que todo lo que tenemos proviene de la mano de Dios.

En este mundo es muy común buscar ventajas en todas las formas, de cuidar sólo lo nuestro y muchas veces de aparentar. Este versículo nos trae esa verdad y nos refresca recordándonos que lo esencial es la justicia, la misericordia y la humildad, estos tres pilares que si los aplicamos en nuestras vidas nos transformará y también transformará a quienes nos rodean.


> Oh hombre, él te ha declarado lo que es bueno; y qué pide Jehová de ti: solamente hacer justicia, amar misericordia, y humillarte ante tu Dios.
