Location: Jesus doesn't present himself as just another teacher, much less as a motivator. In this text, Jesus says something impressive: "I am the bread." He also says "I am the living bread." In this way, Jesus says that he is the one who gives eternal life.

Bread is an essential food; it belongs to the basic needs in the food chain, and Jesus is saying that for us, it should be essential in our lives, even more so in a world where spiritual hunger is prevalent. Jesus is the bread of life.

It is not enough to attend church, read a text a day, or simply offer a simple prayer saying, "I believe in God." The key is to nourish ourselves with the bread of life, to nourish ourselves with Jesus Christ himself. This means ruminating on the word, nourishing ourselves with the word of God, and integrating Jesus into our lives, making him a part of us and allowing him to use us, making him the center of our lives.

What Jesus spoke in this text is not an isolated metaphor. Jesus explained very clearly that without him we do not have eternal life, and he gave himself on the cross so that we can feed on him and live forever.

> I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats this bread, he will live forever. And the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

John 6:51

Ubicación Jesús no se presenta como un maestro más y mucho menos como un motivador, Jesús en este texto dice algo impresionante: "yo soy el pan", también dice "soy el pan vivo", de esta manera Jesús dice que él es el que da vida eterna. 

El pan es un alimento esencial, pertenece a las necesidades básicas en la cadena alimenticia y Jesús para esto está diciendo que él para nosotros debe ser lo esencial en nuestras vidas y mucho más aún en un mundo donde tiene hambre espiritual Jesús es el pan de vida.


No es suficiente con asistir a una iglesia, leer un texto por día o simplemente elevar una simple oración diciendo yo creo en Dios. La clave está en alimentarse del pan de vida, alimentarse de Jesucristo mismo, esto significa rumiar la palabra, alimentarnos de la palabra de Dios e integrar a Jesús en nuestras vidas que él sea parte de nosotros Y dejar que nos use, que él sea el centro de nuestras vidas.

Lo que Jesús habló en este texto no es una metáfora aislada, Jesús explicó de manera muy clara que sin él no tenemos vida eterna y él se entregó en la cruz para que nosotros podamos alimentarnos de él y vivir para siempre.

>  Yo soy el pan vivo que descendió del cielo; si alguno comiere de este pan, vivirá para siempre; y el pan que yo daré es mi carne, la cual yo daré por la vida del mundo.
