The grass is greener on the other side unless you're on the other side. To me it's about how I can interact with the place I'm at, If you like in a beach house and never go on the beach or for that matter not in your beach house most the time it's not the same thing as living in a beach house and interacting with it everyday. Most people don't know why they would want a beach house or live in the country with big open space while few know exactly why. If you know what you would do once you get to the dream place you want to be at and don't interact with it then you learn something new about your self. That's very important because now you understand where you really want to be and find that spot. You will noticed beach houses go up for sale all the time and while it sounded like a great idea for many of the people they learn that living in a very hot place just isn't for them they would rather live in a cooler place with ocean views rather then be right on the beach. Maybe its up on a mountain top looking down and that grand view everyday! For others being right up on the shore/beach is just what they wanted and they wake up with a cup of tea or coffee walk out put there feet in the sand and say ahhh now that's living life. Who knows that might be what they needed for a year or two and change to needing that mountain top view more. The point is you need to get to that point of learning these things about your self to find out who you are and what your pursuit to happiness is. We evolve and learn as we go along in life and we grow up learning that we want more mature things in life vs what we thought we wanted. The only way to learn that is through mistakes, so living on the beach for a year is a mistake to some, they will find where they want to be at much faster then if someone else tells them what they think they would like. Not short cuts in life and that is the same in the pursuit to happiness. Take that first step and enjoy the ride.
