 2023 has started out better than I could have ever hoped for! Not only has the first 12 days of the year gone by in a flash, but the Kingdom community here on the blockchain has been such a blessing! Our ['Eat This Book' bible reading challenge](https://www.bible.com/reading-plans/206/together/55740543/invitation?token=SvYEGtOyMDWz3D3raFYcvA&source=share) has been awesome. This is the first time many of us have read through the bible from Genesis to Revelation and we've all been learning a lot. As for me, I've soaked up so much valuable insight from others on how they are looking at scripture and love being in God's word every single morning! But I want more... So of course, I started poking around for a good 'project' that I could do along side 'Eat This Book' and that has been a verse by verse study on Daniel and Revelation...  I found this bible study guide a few months ago and have been meaning to dive in, and thought it would be a perfect addition to my absolute addiction to scripture these days. It's a verse by verse journal / study created by Andrews University in Michigan. Fun fact, I have been actually thinking of attending Andrews through their distant education programs, but that's down the road lol  This is actually one of the first 'guided' verse by verse study I've ever done in a journal format, so it's very new to me. This is how I've been doing it.... ### PRAY! I'm always coming to the Lord in humble and grateful spirit and looking forward to His revelations to me! ### Read Through The Text The journal features the NKJV bible texts for each chapter of both books. So before I read any commentary or notes about the text, I feel it's important for me to run through the scripture first. ### Write Down Verses I then start writing down key verses that really hit me and made me think. I know this isn't 'traditional bible study' when you are supposed to be asking yourself who, what, when, etc.  But it's what feels right to me as I dive in! ### Make A Note Of Big Messages And then I try to summarize some of the big messages in the chapter. As you can see, I haven't been at this long, so I'm sure I will improve as time goes by. But this has been such an awesome experience so far....Even if I'm only a day into it lol My 2023 goals of being deep into the bible each and every day has been going good so far...I'm praying it continues :)
