Cryptocurrency is one of the things you must learn by making your own mistakes. Many people believe that crypto can be taught like a course. Back in the day, I met online hustlers who packaged crypto courses for others to purchase. What they mostly do is paraphrase and rework information from the Internet, and the gullible people who buy them believe they are learning how crypto works when, in fact, they are reading information that lacks real-world authenticity. When I received my health diagnosis in November, everything felt new to me, and rather than denying my condition, I had to start researching ways to improve my health. I did not have any real information until I started reading about other people's real-life experiences. ## Google Is not Standard Learning ......it is largely overestimated; it is not as accurate as we may believe, and if we are not learning from real-world use cases and true experiences, we are not truly learning. Theoretical learning gets you nowhere, and you must make your own mistakes in order to become a master of your own craft. **Let us dig deeper into the psychology of cryptocurrency.** A person who lost money investing in Ethereum, for example, during the last bull market cannot tell you to avoid investing in ETH because we have not considered the timing, approach, and so on. The fact that the individual failed to profit during a bull market does not imply that many others did not make life-changing money from the same ETH. ### Crypto Truth Is Not Fact People frequently make assessments based on their experiences; sometimes those experiences are true, but they are not the facts on which the general public should base their decisions. There are no shortcuts to understanding cryptocurrency; while the fundamentals can be learned on the internet, making progress requires involvement and personal learning. The reason why more people are not adopting cryptocurrency is that many people think about money before learning, but it is the opposite, and this acts as a barrier. Sometimes the desire to earn money is insufficient to motivate participation and learning. In Nigeria, it is easy for people to say *"teach me crypto, I want to be in millions"*. But the funny thing is, you are not even in the millions, as they believe, and you have made more bad decisions than good, which is why you have seen many bull markets while remaining poor. **While cryptocurrency is teachable, it is not comprehensive; there are many loopholes, blind spots, and queer events and outcomes*** > Why? It is similar to learning English. While theoretically understood, you cannot practically master the language unless you make personal learning efforts. For example, **Give her her book** is correct, but **Give him him book** is incorrect. You can not exactly explain why the former is correct while the latter is incorrect. You just have a feeling; you are not sure why the rule is that way. Crypto is as complicated as this. It is like knowing that BTC increases in value with each bull market, but some altcoins eventually outperform it. ### Mastery comes with deliberate exposure. People are naturally repelled when an effort appears to be worthless in comparison to the reward. They want to ensure that their efforts outweigh their potential rewards, but some things in life, including cryptocurrency, do not work this way. People who are naturally enthusiastic are better learners, and when the desire for knowledge does not outweigh the potential rewards, it may appear negative on the surface, but knowledge is not wasted; whatever is not used is stored for a future time. No crypto knowledge is wasted; both what you learned when you lost and what you gained when you won, everything works together to complete you. When you notice that people are paying more attention to money, it is a red flag that they will not learn.

> **Interested in some more of my works**

##### [Is it Easy To Make Money?](https://peakd.com/hive-167922/@josediccus/is-it-easy-to-make-money-) ##### [Nigeria: A Unique Business Market & Industry](https://peakd.com/hive-167922/@josediccus/nigeria-a-unique-business-market-and-industry) ##### [Virtual Bank Apps In Nigeria: An Experience Of Gamification](https://peakd.com/hive-167922/@josediccus/tfgktsjk) ##### [How To Find The Next "BIG" Meme Coin](https://peakd.com/hive-167922/@josediccus/how-to-find-the-next-big-meme-coin) ##### [Personal Finance: Achieving Intentional "Saving" Goals](https://peakd.com/hive-167922/@josediccus/snyczgol) ##### [Playing The Survival Game: Human Nature In Introspection](https://peakd.com/hive-167922/@josediccus/playing-the-survival-game-human-nature-in-introspection-rufcp3) ##### ["Un-PAYING" The Debt You Owe](https://hive.blog/hive-167922/@josediccus/-unpaying-the-debt-you-owe)
 Posted Using [InLeo Alpha](https://inleo.io/@josediccus/are-there-any-principles-to-understanding-crypto-)
