## <center> Half A Decade Later....... </center>

through the pumpkins
we did peep
keeping our eyes peeled
on the stinging yellow sun,
to relish the daze of blindness
that comes in jiffy seconds
ragged around, covered in innocence
Yet, half a decade later
I'm staring at a familiar stranger
whose eyes ripped away my courage
once in a naked state of shyness



The tip of our fingers maligning,
brings clashing moments
gnawing into me
like a sword whooshing through
and bringing death's memories
coming in an eyes' twinkle.
Half a decade later
and your voice still rings
like warble's echoes
in the deepest of forest
the instant you take that stride,


your feet gently thudding!
on the busy streets 
poisoned by hoots and honks
yet immediately you step closer,
I knew, I know you're still
that scruffy little pest
that melts metals with your lies
makes nests of birds 
with your twinkle little toes
and half a decade later....



Your beautify still stuns
like the world's seven wonders
take takes me on a quest to ponder,
how time takes us
and turns us to this things
we know no more.
for how I wish it was us!
walking the road as it goes
from dusts to tarrs and cleanliness





Half a decade later,
and you still pump to the surface,
of my ocean of feelings
beating steadily in my heart
like a lovely little feather
that can't just drown
in the myriad of time.
You still purr like a kitten
and there's that colourful flame
that purifies
keeping me glued
to love only you eternally. 



Half a decade later
and I'm still in love
with your once grumpy tiny self
you darted across the sand
leaving footprints in my soul
confining me to blur the world
making you my prince
in my imaginary mini kingdom
half a decade later,
and you've become the alien
I'll still follow across the galaxies
