<hr> <hr> It's that time of the bear market again when people are beginning to think crypto is recovering nicely well, only for them to wake up and it's all red again. Some people head over to Twitter to see what their favorite crypto sensei is tweeting, right after checking coinmarket cap. Of course, this action is only to find some form of validation as to why the dip is happening again even when we'd seen we're clearly in the bear market and understand the fact that small little gains wouldn't last forever. It was like when [HBD](https://leofinance.io/@crypto-guides/what-are-hive-backed-dollars-hbd) did over $2, some people hit the withdraw button on their "savings" of course, fuck the 20% APY, this was real gains, gotta do some smart business and come back for the 20%. This withdrawal would take 3 days but then, the sentiment behind this would be something like *"no one knows, maybe, just maybe a miracle would happen even if such a pump isn't going to be sustainable,"* I mean we all know that a solid $1 peg for HBD is the goal for the future but then some others would still show some massive excitement to see it over $2, the gains that could ensue could be used for some serious compounding > **But why?** This shows that people want little "short-term" wins over whatever the "long-term" promises. This is just practical proof that a lot of us want "wins" irrespective of the fact that we cannot keep winning at all times in life. crypto has created a sort of seasonal win, I mean, it's life. We have the time to sow and when to harvest. It's the same with crypto, but sometimes we just want the future to fuck off because we want to take care of the moment, even with a 2% move, profit is profit. Back to what I was saying. We want validation for every time crypto dips, we want to know if it's the Koreans that are responsible for the pumping, we want to know why we're recovering and now we're in red again. The reason for this is that everyone is partially hoping that every dips or gain are explainable, this is why we study charts and pattern, being caught unawares in crypto is one of the things that hurt. Even when we're 50% banking on the bull market to come and 50% hoping it would come, we still want to get some little wins to procure some reassurance that Crypto isn't pulling an exit stunt on us. I mean... No one wants to keep losing.... The bear market itself cannot even be that justification we finally want. I saw someone saying BTC can never go below 17k this bear market again as that was the bottom, this has been the case for quite a while now. However, we might have seen the bottom, we might have not, one thing I've come to realize is that we cannot place sustainability on the hopes that we've seen the bottom, Nevertheless, even if we haven't, it's always nice to hear when someone says "Bitcoin has hit its bottom, It's a no brainer. We cannot be completely right. I like the way the bear market goes back and forth. The yo-yo or ping pong effects on the emotions of people, it's not been an all gloomy bearish situation like in 2018, and this is because the movements are exciting, we're not completely going down and from 17k BTC went up to 23k again. It's that favorite time when people will begin to browse through Twitter to check the reasons for the dip again, but chill, it's still the bear market, take your time and prepare, don't let the bull market come and you are unable to take advantage. <hr> <hr> <hr> > **Interested in some more of my works?** <hr> ##### [The Intrinsic Propensity To Spend Money](https://hive.blog/hive-167922/@josediccus/the-intrinsic-propensity-to-spend-money) ##### [Poverty: The Unwillingness To Spend?](https://hive.blog/hive-167922/@josediccus/poverty-the-unwillingness-to-spend) ##### [A Scenic Bathroom Photoshoot](https://hive.blog/hive-147010/@josediccus/a-scenic-bathroom-photoshoot) ##### [The Importance Of Having A Contingency Money Plan](https://hive.blog/hive-167922/@josediccus/the-importance-of-having-a-contingency-money-plan) ##### [Translational Value; What Is Your Worth?](https://hive.blog/hive-167922/@josediccus/fjwtrlvk) ##### [Using Crypto As A Means Of Transferring Will](https://hive.blog/hive-167922/@josediccus/using-crypto-as-a-means-of-transferring-will) <hr> Posted Using [LeoFinance Beta](https://leofinance.io/@josediccus/hbd-and-bitcoin-why-do-people-want-gains-even-in-bearish-situations)
