The two photos were taken during COVID 2020 <hr> I started out on Hive by making general random stuff. Like discussing life and motivation, but my life was not colorful enough to inspire anyone, so I stopped. It was not really my thing. I came from a place where I was a storyteller for a website, and also I learned SEO, because we always wanted to take advantage of the Google algorithm back then to rank our websites. However, these types of content were not working. Then I decided to start creating videos. I must say, I thoroughly enjoyed it. However, it was difficult because you had to cut and edit, and you usually had to repeat a statement several times before you got it right, but it was enjoyable. I received a lot of comments on my videos, and it appeared that people preferred to watch videos rather than read. Following that, I began creating my own lifestyle and travel blogs. I eventually stopped doing that and started taking my own photos. This felt better, so I bought an iPhone 12 and started using it with my Samsung A72. The advantage here was that I could post my photos on my blog. I posted a lot on Liketu (our own very Instagram) but then I stopped again. Over time, I discovered what my customers wanted to see and stuck with it, but I was not getting the satisfaction I desired. >>However, I continued to take my own original photographs. Someone told me they would be more supportive if I used my original photos. Previously, I had to constantly search Google for stock images, and the majority of the time I ended up downloading ones that were not free to use. ## Stock Image & ownership issues. ***Nowadays anyone can create an AI prompt and slam it in their post, it wasn't the same in 2020*** I was a sports writer, but the moderator kept flagging my post and saying the pictures weren't original. I think this frustration made me envious of creators who could create their own photos. So I decided to take various photos and draw inspiration from them. *Although the native AI images on peakD seems decent. The ones I see on some posts nowadays are quite cringy* However, I began creating more crypto content, and it was enjoyable to constantly read about crypto, form my own opinions, and write my own posts. > Knowing more about xrypto On Hive is a huge plus To be honest I started getting excited about crypto contents after the mess up of 2021. If I'm going to succeed in the space I might otherwise stop being blind and get more interested in crypto. I am not trying to undermine those who are not interested in crypto, but rather making generalizations. I am just saying that if you are on Hive, you need that (crypto) knowledge to explore other spaces with even more opportunities. For example, if you want to accumulate more Hive over time, you will need tactics, especially if you understand how the market works. Also, if you want to know how to sell and buy, you must first learn the basics. If you are on Hive, you are probably limiting your opportunities by not understanding how the market works and how you can acquire or own more liquidity over time. *So basically crypto contents are 50% what I create most of the time and its surprising on how that turned out well because I was completely clueless in 2017.* It's probably because I've followed a lot of crypto creators over the years on Hive and om Twitter as well, and the stuffs they've created over the years have robbed off on me. This, combined with my interest in how the market works and my desire to profit from it, has resulted in the creation of more crypto-related content. By all means, I am still learning how it all works, so most of the crypto posts I have or will create should not be the first place you look, but I believe that crypto-related content is a result of the exposure I receive on a daily basis. ## Conclusion However, I still create random stuffs most of the time, but my love for crypto contents has made me a little sentimental. It means that most non-crypto content does not pique my interest, unless the creators are exceptional. I began taking pictures because I studied creators who know how to use their own images, and to this day, a good image in a blog can make me open a post, especially if the creator has done a good job of leading their post with a great image taken by them. Sometimes my search for crypto posts leads me to Twitter, and sometimes I compare the sentiments of various crypto creators to find a middle ground on what might be true or what appears likely. So, for the time being, I do not believe my content creation style will change; I have found a happy medium and know what I am passionate about. <hr> <hr> > **Interested in some more of my posts** <hr> <hr> ##### [Why Is the grind getting harder?](https://hive.blog/hive-146620/@josediccus/why-is-the-grind-getting-harder) ##### [Monopoly Is the Death of Civilization](https://hive.blog/hive-146620/@josediccus/monopoly-is-the-death-of-civilization) ##### [Survival: Choas and Scarcity](https://hive.blog/hive-146620/@josediccus/survival-choas-and-scarcity) ##### [Crypto: Gut & meaningful Connections](https://hive.blog/hive-146620/@josediccus/crypto-gut-and-meaningful-connections) ##### [What is the primary barrier to entry in Web3?](https://hive.blog/hive-146620/@josediccus/what-is-the-primary-barrier-to-entry-in-web3-dfo) ##### [What Are Some Things You Should not Do During A Bull Market Year?](https://hive.blog/hive-146620/@josediccus/what-are-some-things-you-should-not-do-during-a-bull-market-year-fbh) <hr>
