Most of us know the home remedy of putting sliced onions in your socks before going to sleep would cure so many health problems , some even say it purifies the blood and improves circulation. Myself I am sure it might help kill some unwanted bacteria and fungus that grow on the feet, but not sure about the rest. At face value it will not hurt your health sleeping with onions in your socks, but it might hurt your social life. There is an asian saying that goes somewhat like this " If you sleep between garlic and onion you won't wake up smelling fresh " , this is not an exact translation but close.

Since the beginning of Steem the project and Steemit the social media website, everyone with their own way set out to fix the reward-pool, each with his own understanding of how rewards should be distributed. ( Consensus on reward pool distribution ) Yet the elusive fix never came, because what everyone failed to realise is that his version of a fix is really nothing like any other version. To code any fix and try it, would need months of testing to get results. We never gave any adjustment enough time to see results, and every adjustment came with more than one variable changed, most were quickly changed by community demand before any result could be realised. The last change with fork 19, got the longest test period, but as with other changes, this one quickly gave way to the increasing effect of delegation, and delegation was introduced in an earlier fork but took the lead over any other change due to it being heavily utilized. I bet by now most of us do not remember what other changes came with fork 19 regarding the reward pool. How can we as a community reach a consensus on the reward pool, we simply will not. Obviously with fork 20, more reward pool changes are coming. Will fork 20 fix the reward pool? No, because the reward pool was never broken, each and every time it worked exactly as it was coded. What was broken is our consensus on how the reward pool should work. And sadly that will always be broken. The reward pool has become our block size debate compared to bitcoin. I have always seen the reward pool as a self fixing / self healing process. A process that can only be improved by putting all our focus on other priorities like communities and SMTs ... Of course fork 20 is not all about the reward pool, it has a load of other improvements, but I am sure most will not even care about those, because the focus as usual will remain the reward pool. The most important changes in fork 20 are the performance improvements, these are the only changes I am looking for at the moment, insuring that anyone even backup witnesses can keep a node running without having to utilize much more resources.
