Congratulations on making it through the most fantastical year in cryptocurrency thus far! Over the course of this past year we’ve seen the [overall market capitalization]( https://coinmarketcap.com/charts/) of all cryptocurrencies jump from $18.2B to an all-time high in December of over $650B!

Look for the market to take off in extreme ways in 2018, especially as the first steps of many ERC20 roadmaps come to fruition in Q1. Applications like Golem, Augur, SALT, and Civic should see some exponential growth in the coming couple of months.

Also look for solo token projects to begin to take off, like Ripple and Request Network. We saw [Ripple]( https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ripple/) take off toward the end of 2017, seeing 10x growth in the final 4-5 weeks of the year.
