Processing My Father's Passing

This video was shot minutes after learning my father passed away. Instead of focusing on what was lost, I decided to focus on the relationship we could have together now.

Everyone processes events like this differently. I'm sharing this video so others can know how I feel, and so I don't have to explain to everyone individually that, to me, death is not a tragic loss, but a powerful catalyst forward. In fact, I feel as close to my father as ever now, and feel like he'll be an everyday part of my life for years to come.
