The visibility was poor so the captain himself watched out on all the activities. >All of a sudden, a post situated at the wing of the scaffold shouted out, "Light bearing on the starboard bow!" >"Is it steady or not?" the Captain asked. "Steady, Captain," the post answered. That implies that they are near a collision course with the other ship. >The Captain said, "Signal that ship: We are in a nearby crash, I'm telling you to steer 30 degrees! >Signal came back, "I advise you to steer 30 degrees. >The Captain said, "Send: I'm a Captain. I'm telling you to steer 30 degrees! >"I'm a Lieutenant". "You better steer 30 degrees. >The Captain, cannot remain calm any longer, ordered, "Send: We are conveying a war vessel! Steer 30 degrees instantly! >Light came back saying, "I'm a lighthouse." >Right then and there, the battleship steered away. Like the battleship's captain who stands firm in his orders but gave way when warned, we should be adaptable to change. In life, we always have a choice. Like water, we must be adaptable with unexpected circumstances. Change is the foundation of growth.
