Resilience the power of attitude
While it is true that difficulties, obstacles, problems are an inseparable part of life itself, it is no less true that, the same can be faced, the way we do it will make the difference. In this context, the position of adapting positively to adversity is known as ***resilience*** > The [resilience](https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Resiliencia_(psicolog%C3%ADa)) is the integrity beyond the resistance. It is the ability to overcome the adverse stimuli

[Link](https://steemitimages.com/DQmVbRaLQZhwq2oXSegCwk7heWtXpmiipvLvxjTehQmGvqd/resilience.jpg)

The resilient process
The term ***resilience*** has somehow undergone definitive variations, to the point that it could be considered a polysemic word. Since the middle of the last century with Emmy Werner, until today, there have been many conceptualizations given regarding the term, however, from all of them a common place emerges: the attitude of fighting with integrity against the difficulties, beyond the results , so that those do not affect you emotionally. Thus, nowadays the product of the discussions of specialists on the subject resilience is not assumed as a capacity, instead it is spoken of the ***resilient process*** in the sense that resilience, rather than an activity is a process where they combine, in addition to the personality, a series of factors of the individual environment such as, for example, the family, friends, the economic condition, among others. > The resilient process configures a multifactorial dynamism contained in a person's environment making him a subject prepared to fight against obstacles in a proactive way and always ready to continue regardless of the results of the encounter with adverse situations

[Link](https://steemitimages.com/DQmZcQnvnNrHpRcXqbHrt7qriEZXTAkjUCFZpadNcCGiwdV/el%20proceso%20resiliente.jpg)

Ways to achieve resilience
The American Psychological Association establishes a series of [***steps***](http://www.apa.org/helpcenter/road-resilience.aspx) that can help us build a resilient attitude, that is, adaptable to problems. Within the list of steps, of [ the road to resilience](http://www.apa.org/helpcenter/road-resilience.aspx), we refer: 1.- ***Establish good personal relationships***, with the closest and most important environment *** 2.- ***Accept what you can not change***, learn to live with what you can not change and focus on what you can change. 3.- ***Move towards your goals*** and make sure they are realistic. One way, is to stay anchored and contemplating the problems, self flagellating emotionally. The other, the resilient one, leads us to face the problems with a positive attitude, always with our heads held high and to continue always with the best disposition.
