US Defense Secretary Pentagon has warned that 10,000 US soldiers may be killed on the first day if North Korea attacks. On Thursday, the top US military officials on the island of Hawaii warned from a meeting. Iranian media has reported such news by quoting a Russian news agency Sputnik.


 
According to the Pentagon, it has been said that 10 thousand American soldiers were killed or wounded on the first day when a war against North Korea began. The US military officials fear the seven thousand US soldiers who were killed in Iraq and the Afghan war, and if the Pyongyang attack is over, the number of US soldiers will exceed the number.

On Thursday, a top US military official met in secret meetings to express their concerns about possible war with North Korea. They said these things at the meeting. US military officials discussed in detail what could happen in a possible war in the meeting.



Chief of Staff General Mark Milli and US Special Operations Commander General Raymond Thomas were led by the meeting. They said that there will be a terrible catastrophe on the first day of the possible war with North Korea.

In the meeting, General Mili said that a large number of civilians would be killed in addition to the casualties of US military personnel in the war. He said brutality will go to such a level which is beyond the range of experience of the surviving soldiers.

US military officials expressed concern when North Korea's extreme tension with the United States on nuclear and ballistic missile programs.
