MRC is a feature encouraged by the community for almost two years! Additionally, MERRC adds an economic tool to the Gridcoin ecosystem in the form of Manual Claim Fees. Well, good news! Tonight we discuss MRC because the core devs have begun exploring how to develop the dang thing. We will introduce the concept and the expected benefits of the mechanism. We will also be joined by @jamescowens who will guide us through the devs' thought process and rationale as it stands so far. It is important to remember that these are very early discussions and we still need to work out the exact logistical details of the mechanism. It is also important to remember that your input is _critical_ in these discussions. We are designing the levers to an economic system, just as one day we hope to design the levers to the systems of science. Just because someone can code does not mean they have all the answers, and just because you cannot code does not mean you know nothing! In fact, input from those with experience in the legacy system and who do not suffer from the curse of exposure and construction is exactly what we need. Join us!
