Kachchh district of Gujarat state of India is like a sanctuary of Reptiles.Nearly 29 types of reptiles lives here,  this includes snakes,monitors,geckdes,tortolie,turtles,etc.the main venomous snakes in the area are indian cobra, saw-scaled viper and common khati while the non venomous snakes include rat snake, Russell's, earth boa wolf snake, buffstripped keelback, checkored keelback trinket snakeetc.;Reptiles is an animal that crawls or moves on it's belly or on small short legs. They are cold blooded animals means that their body temperature changes with the surrounding temperature.This region is home of numbers of reptiles of threatened, reptiles  species banded gecko, desert monitor, spiny tailed lizard etc. There are seen mainly Lakhpat, khadir, Tragadi, Kaladungar area.
