The EU has a series of financing programs that you can attend based on the nature of your activity or project. Here we inform you what this financing policy consists of.

Direct financing
The allocation of direct financing capital is managed by the European institutions. Two types of financing are available: grants and contracts

Subsidies
Grants are awarded to specific projects related to EU policies, generally after the publication of a call for proposals.

These grants are available to companies or related organizations (business associations, providers of business support services, consultants, etc.) that develop projects that are favorable to the interests of the EU or contribute to the implementation of a European policy or program.

Contracts
The contracts are published by the European institutions to acquire goods, contract services or carry out works necessary for the development of their activities: studies, training, conference organization, computer equipment, etc. The contracts are awarded through English tenders.

Indirect financing
Indirect financing is managed by national and regional administrations and accounts for around 80% of the EU budget, mainly through five large funds included in the European Structural and Investment FundsEnglish.

Depending on the modality chosen, you must use any of these institutions to manage your financing:

European Social FundEnglish: social inclusion and good governance
Cohesion FundEnglish: economic convergence of less developed regions
European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development
European Maritime and Fisheries FundEnglish
