 Hello dear steemians of the body of Christ. I would be sharing with you all a great topic on this beautiful sunday. Faith is a vital force in life. Everyone you meet has faith in one thing or another. It is possible,though,to have faith in a wrong thing, in which case faith ceases to be a positive force. Instead of being a creative force, a negative faith becomes counterproductive. This was what the apostle tried to guard against,when he refused to use flowery language of the earthly philosophers in his preaching. Judging from his background of law, Paul would have more than enough of earthy wisdom to display if he chose to go that way. Instead, he adopted the simple approach in passing the message to the people, but not without the demonstration of the spirit and of power.  He showed us the reason for this approach in 1cor. 2:5 *"That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God"*. Once in every little while, we need to stop and query what our faith is standing on. Too often people err unknowingly by letting their faith stand on the charisma of some individuals. *following charisma of other individuals is wrong*  They fail to realise that the best of men are men at their best. And when there is any shaking in such lives the very foundation of their faith us affected. The word of God remains the best foundation for faith, and it is the access to the power of God. It is the only thing that is forever settled in heaven, far beyond the reach of changing fortunes of this present world. *Thank you all for reading, May God bless you all.
