Привіт всім, друзі.

У нас сьогодні трапилася справжня подія – нашому закладові освіти подарували генератор. І це дійсно для нас надважлива приємність. 
Нині ситуація зі світлом налагодилася. Та коли вимикали по 4 години поспіль, то в гуртожитку і навчальних кабінетах було дуже холодно.

Today we had a real event - a generator was presented to our educational institution. And this is really a great pleasure for us.
Now the situation with light has improved. But when they switched off for 4 hours in a row, it was very cold in the dormitory and classrooms.

Опалення в нас газове, але без помпи, що розганяє воду, вмикати котли не можливо, адже котельна – окреме приміщення. Вночі, взагалі, світла не було по 6-8 годин. От і виходило, що за 2 години, під час яких була електроенергія, навіть систему нагріти неможливо було, не те, щоб обігріти величезне приміщення в 3 поверхи. 

>Our heating is gas, but without a pump that disperses the water, it is not possible to turn on the boilers, because the boiler room is a separate room. At night, in general, there was no light for 6-8 hours. So it turned out that for 2 hours, during which there was electricity, it was impossible to even heat the system, let alone heat a huge room with 3 floors.

Була ціла біда. За 8 годин на роботі ми замерзали так, що вдома було складно відігрітися до ранку. А в гуртожитку у нас майже 40 ВПО, серед яких більшість людей похилого віку, та й діти є. В таких умовах люди перебували не один тиждень. Ми розуміли, що нам край необхідний генератор, хоча б для забезпечення роботи котельні. 

>There was a whole trouble. In 8 hours at work, we froze so much that it was difficult to warm up at home until morning. And in the dormitory we have almost 40 IDPs, among whom the majority are elderly people, and there are also children. People stayed in such conditions for more than one week. We understood that we desperately needed a generator, if only to ensure the operation of the boiler room.

Сьогодні місцевий осередок профспілкового комітету завітав до нас з візитом. Приїхали вони не самі, а з досить цікавим чоловіком. Цей добродій з Швейцарії привіз в Україну 40 генераторів, один з яких отримав наш заклад освіти. Звичайно ж з цього найбільше раділи наші ВПО. І це зрозуміло, адже люди постійно проживають в гуртожитку і їм необхідне тепло.

>Today, the local branch of the trade union committee paid us a visit. They did not come alone, but with a rather interesting man. This good man from Switzerland brought 40 generators to Ukraine, one of which was given to our educational institution. Of course, our IDPs were most happy about this. And this is understandable, because people constantly live in a dormitory and they need warmth.

В процесі зустрічі з гостями, я поцікавилася тим, ким же є наш волонтер. Ним виявився вчитель музики. Він грає на бас-гітарі. Крім того, цей колоритний чоловік є рок-музикантом. Звати його Андре Коурберт (сподіваюся, що вірно записала його прізвище). Як виявилося, він є учасником гурту Якоба Салема. Назву самого колективу я не запам’ятала. В інтернеті знайшла досить багато світлин та відео виступів цих рок-музикантів.

>During the meeting with the guests, I asked who our volunteer was. He turned out to be a music teacher. He plays the bass guitar. In addition, this colorful man is a rock musician. His name is André Courbert (I hope I wrote down his last name correctly). As it turned out, he is a member of Jacob Salem's band. I did not remember the name of the team itself. I found quite a lot of photos and videos of the performances of these rock musicians on the Internet.

Крім музики, вони ще й волонтерять. Насправді, збір коштів та допомога Україні – їх перша спроба у цій сфері. Але, як на мене, досить вдала та доцільна. Дуже імпонує, що представник гурту сам привіз генератори, не дивлячись на відстань та не побоявшись війни. 
Андре дуже цікавився життям людей в умовах війни. Він був вражений силою духу та відважністю цивільного населення України. 
Проникнувши долею людей, які втратили все на війні (а таких у нашому гуртожитку більшість), він пообіцяв приїхати ще та привести те, чого потребують наші ВПО.

>In addition to music, they also volunteer. In fact, fundraising and helping Ukraine is their first attempt in this area. But, in my opinion, it is quite successful and expedient. It is very impressive that the representative of the band brought the generators himself, regardless of the distance and without fear of war.
Andre was very interested in the life of people during the war. He was impressed by the spirit and courage of the civilian population of Ukraine.
Understanding the fate of people who lost everything in the war (and most of them are in our hostel), he promised to come again and bring what our IDPs need.
Пів дня знаходжуся під враженням від спілкування з цим іноземцем. Здається, що людина з іншої планети. Його врівноваженість і харизма переливається через край. Дуже приємно, що такі творчі та досить відомі люди допомагають нам. Тепер я фанат гурту Якоба Салема, адже його учасник – мій особистий знайомий😁.

Today I am under the impression of communication with this foreigner. It seems that a person is from another planet. His poise and charisma overflows. It is very nice that such creative and quite famous people help us. Now I'm a fan of Jacob Salem's band, because his member is a personal acquaintance of mine😁.
