I took this shot as sunset was beginning to fade from Grand Anse on the island of Praslin, in the Seychelles. You can see the streaks of golden light emerging between the clouds but starting to thin out and turn orange as sunset turns to dusk. I like having the branches of the palms in the foreground in many of my pictures, because they can create a more dramatic depth of field effect with my photos. Also, sometimes I will try to rotate the frame slightly for effect, which is why the horizon is slanted downward from left to right. However, I maintain the horizontal on the palm branches. So it turns out cool in this case, as it allows me to pick up more distance of the waves breaking at the shore. .jpg)
