<liketuimages> <center> </center> </liketuimages> First on our itinerary in Hong Kong was Victoria Peak, this was one of the places that my husband's company required everyone to visit so that they could take group photos. So after lunch and check-in at the hotel, we slept for a bit then prepared for Victoria Peak at 3 PM. We were still a little tired from the flight and all but we had to go, in fact, napping in the comfortable bed of Kowloon Hotel made me rethink if we should go but we already got tickets bought by the company so we needed to get moving! The admin team sent us a trip guide which made it easier for us to navigate to where the Peak Tram is located. Since we are just near the Tsim Sha Tsui station, the train was the easiest option. So we took a train going to Central Station. Speaking of Central Station, I learned while in Hong Kong that it runs underwater, it's amazing but also a little scary to think of. I commend Hong Kong for this! Tsuen Wan line is an immersed tube railway tunnel across Victoria Harbour, connecting Hong Kong Island to Kowloon! Anyway, as we stepped out of Central Station into Chater Garden, we were welcomed by high-rise buildings like the Bank of China which looked cool with its triangular patterns, there's also the HSBC building, Cheung Kong Centre, and a lot more! We were not in a hurry so stopping every now and then was fine. From Chater Garden, we crossed Queensway Road towards Garden Road, and we saw some trams passing by too, we then walked around Cheung Kong Centre's side going up, this was a bit of an uphill walk, and having to push a stroller made it really challenging! But of course, we have to continue and push, my husband and I have to take turns. We passed by a church called St. John's Cathedral. And we reached the Peak Tram entrance! It was supposed to be a ten-minute walk but because we had to stop a lot of times and we had to take turns pushing the stroller, it took us I guess more than 20 minutes. Nevertheless, we reached the Peak Tram. In my next blog, I'll share our Peak Tram experience and a glimpse of Victoria Peak! Thanks for reading!
