There's always joy and excitement when individuals with the same interests come together, get united and get along even if they had just met a few minutes ago.

### *Yesterday, February 24 on a special day of our 3rd wedding anniversary, @panoramicview and I met the #steemitachievers members from Iligan who were in Cebu City.*

Truly, that's how I felt upon seeing the members of #SteemitAchievers from Iligan who by the way won third place for the **Hip Hop International Philippines 2018 Visayas Regional Qualifier** and will be advancing to the National Championship soon! Congratulations to them for the big win!

Their group is called **[League of Aces](https://www.facebook.com/LOAdancers/)** and I personally witnessed how they danced their hearts out during their presentation below:

Way before the competition, sister @kneelyrac messaged the team through the group chat that they are in Cebu City for the competition, of course, I won't let this opportunity pass by without meeting them! They are from Iligan and coming to Cebu as a group might just be the only opportunity that we'll have this, at least this year.

So I immediately responded and we all agreed to meet up after the competition. Right after the announcement of winners, we met at the stage, I felt like I was also part of the troupe while on stage!

Team #SteemitAchievers was a brainchild of @long888, @g10a and @lebron2016 about four to five months ago. Since then, the team had been growing and developing such camaraderie amongst the members. There are different contests and activities such as live singing auditions and even logo contests powered by Discord and with such activities, we are able to gain trust and confidence between each member.

Aside from that, most of the members are friends and relatives of each achievers as well so there's already a foundation amongst each other. One proof to that is the **[League of Aces](https://www.facebook.com/LOAdancers/)**. These guys have known each other for quite some time.

When we met, we somehow felt like we have known each other and we were all smiles. I, of course, congratulated everyone for a job well done and for bringing home the bacon!

Since we don't have that much time, I just encouraged everyone to blog constantly and even share their dance performance experiences here during the Hip-hop International competition. I believe they have a lot of things to share from it starting from the preparation down to the traveling and finally to the competition days. 

I do hope that with that short time that we met, I had encouraged everyone to be active here in Steemit and continue with what they had started. I also hope that in the future, we will have more time to spend with each other so we can exchange views and opinions as well as tips about steemit that we can also impart with each other.

Look at how we are all pumped for #steemit and the team #steemitachievers too!

That wraps up everything! Again, I wish that one day, we will be able to meet up and learn more about the platform in person, of course with lots of time so we can really talk about a lot of topics.

But for now, I am all fine with what we have accomplished by meeting each other and knowing each individual.
