Relationships, no matter adult or children need nourishing. The most difficult of them is when individuals desire to embrace a relationship, but it's denied them. For instance, giving birth is a wondrous occasion. However, sometimes situations give rise to difficulties in the pregnancy. If a baby is born premature, a mother feels she needs to make a concerted effort to connect with her newborn. You can only imagine a tiny baby in need of the mother's closeness for security. I relate a microfiction for the prompt ***"tiny relationships"***. The ZAPFIC50 story is told in exactly 50 words. The challenge was created by @felt.buzz.

Francis woke, her mind groggy. Light cascaded in. 

A coldness crept over her like a shadow.  She felt lighter than over the past seven months. 

Looking at her deflated stomach, she rang frantically for assistance. 

Sensing her preemie crying, she couldn't wait to see and connect with his tiny fingers.
