<center></center> <div class="text-justify"> What female wouldn't love exotic accessories? The embellishments look and feel exquisite as well as attract admirers. I remember when a young adult in the workforce, accessories were a major part of my wardrobe. Matching items for each outfit offered a delight in readying myself for work that morning. I also remember how extremely important attire was to some career positions. I specifically remember receptionists who greeted customers at the front desk were expected to look and act a certain way. When I look back on that time period in the early 1970s, I have just have to shake my head as what I now call "foolishness" that had nothing to do with how well one performed their duties. It all had to do with the concept of "beauty". For my current mixed media project, I wanted to capture the essence of adorning one's self with items that uplifted the spirit. Even in the animal kingdom, the best dressed males and females attract the opposite sex. If the entire persona is well put together, then that's the one who gets to take home the prize. Below are my steps:  I utilized Canva, my design program, to blend the different type images. Below are my steps in which I began with a blank, white canvas, then added layers of elements, colorizing images, removing backgrounds, resizing, filtering, and repositioning items. Of all the features, the ability to remove the backgrounds from images or detach any part of any image from its base is crucial to the blending process. |||||||| |-|-|-|-|-|-|-| |||||||| <center></center> The list of images I included in my design is set out below. Pure fractals I created in the advanced version of the fractal rendering program, Apophysis 7X. Several free-sourced images are also included.
