In their contest post: [ALIEN ART HIVE GRAPHICS CONTEST!](https://peakd.com/hive-158694/@juliakponsford/alien-art-hive-graphics-contest), I you can submit as many entries as you'd like. ##### <center>Alien Art Hive Graphics Contest: Entry #2</center> My approach to Entry #2 was to create a path to the Community by drawing from a well known story of *The Wizard of Oz*. My inspiration for the theme was the art I produced from Wombo Dream. In the dream art piece, the colored rocks reminded me of a path. I immediately thought about Dorothy in the original story and the path she discovered to find her way home via the yellow brick road. Since we're in the alien art world, I thought dark blue pavers would suffice. In my Alien Art Hive graphics theme, a young female, who loves sci-fi and art, has wandered into an unknown world. She read about an Alien Art Hive Community, so she's trying to find her way to the famous gallery. Upon entering the portal, a mysterious woman appears, so she stops to ask directions. She doesn't realize the woman is the Admin of the gallery. Although the woman looks a bit mysterious, she's delighted to show her the way. This current project from Wombo Art provided me the generative art I was looking for as a background and central setting to my theme. The following text input helped me achieve my vision of a mysterious world with a female who looks lost and confused: Below are my steps: ##### Text input: "Woman in black and red" ##### Result: <center></center> I was a bit surprised at the detail in the image. <center></center> **Image manipulation and enhancement:** Utilizing *Deep Dream Generator*, I enhanced the image of the woman to get a deeper saturation of the red in her left eye. I then uploaded all images to Canva, I was able to blend the fractal, free image, and the Wombo Dream art with the additional tools provided in my Annual Pro Membership Subscription. <div class="pull-left"> For the image of the woman I used to represent Alien Art Hive, I located a lovely photo from the free site PxFuel. I was drawn to the photo of the lady who has her head turned slightly to the side. <center> <sup>Free image at [PxFuel](https://www.pxfuel.com/en/free-photo-oombw)</sup></center> </div> <div class="pull-right"> My fractal I created in Apophysis 2.09 fractal rendering program represents the image that surrounds the woman's photo.
