**wikker: (noun) person who distills the modern sea of knowledge (especially on the internet)** A librarian. Do you want help finding your next book? What are you looking for? Do you want a story? Do you want to know how to do something? Do you want to know what happened? When? https://akathegeneralist.files.wordpress.com/2014/11/bookshelf.jpg **Do you wanna know how to know?** A philomath is a lover of knowledge. A polymath is person who is skilled in multiple fields. They are different but related. A Renaissance Man is a person who is an expert in multiple disciplines. When the Gutenberg Press was created it made possible the distribution of knowledge to the masses for the first time. When the Internet became ubiquitous, another revolution occurred in the distribution of knowledge. And a lot of noise was created as well. A still allows you to have something that was lost because of dilution. The thing you want is mixed with the superfluous. Separate it and you can benefit. A librarian distills the mass of knowledge in a library. But there is no modernized version of this word. The person who comes closest to this is a blogger. But that term is obscured and conjures images that are unrelated to this concept of a librarian. Maybe something derived from the term “wiki” would be more appropriate. Hence:** wikker**. So what we need more of these days are wikkers. The knowledge and skills have made their way to YouTube , Wikipedia, specialized blogs and many self published books. ***Let’s distill what we have. Let’s be wikkers of knowledge and let the flame burn strong.***
