The European Commission has admitted that about 64,000 migrants received prepaid debit cards, according to the Hungarian Minister for Public Diplomacy, Zoltán Kovács. In response to the Hungarian government's public information campaign, the EU political body has published information that millions of euros have been paid by EU taxpayers to irregular migrants, as confirmed by earlier Infowars information. In November 2018, the Infowars Europe portal revealed that migrants used the EU and UN-labeled MasterCard debit cards to pay for goods and services on their travels. These claims were soon backed by Austrian intelligence officials in statements made to the Kronen Zeitung. Subsequently, Budapest requested clarification on this issue and claimed that the program could facilitate terrorist financing."Almost 64,000 people received financial support through debit cards," says Kovács in a new report. “In 2017 alone, € 57 million was earmarked for this program and almost 17,000 cards were issued between April and September.
