If you woke up tomorrow and there was no government...
***...what would you do?*** I know it's kind of a silly and clichéd question, but...what *would* you do?

I love to ask this question to statists when they begin to hem and haw in conversation and halfheartedly start to talk about why we need government to keep order, or for this or that service to be maintained.

What is funny is that when I ask them, what would you do if you woke up tomorrow and the government was gone, they usually say something like..."the same things I always do," or "just go about my life," or "go back to sleep."

I have yet to hear one person mention going on a mad pillaging rape-spree, shooting up heroin and then setting movie theaters on fire. Funny. The way the news media portrays humankind you'd think that's exactly what would be going on.

**Man. What a question, huh? Well. What would *I* do?** I think, to be honest, I would start the first day by smoking a really fat joint (which I cannot do safely here in Japan unless I want to be breaking rocks on a chain gang for 12 years or get deported), take a walk around the town, and talk to as many people as possible.

**I would have to then chill out and figure out how to move forward.**

**Things I want to do:**

***•Grow a fucking badass garden for food.***

***•Make hemp products and experiment with hemp fuels, clothing, and building materials.***

***•Make CBD oil.***

***•Make MUSIC.***

***•Community parties.***

***•Debate, research, and inform.***

***•Make/edit movies.***

***•Be armed.***

***•Hug people.***

***•Write.***

How would I make a living in the absence of the state? I'm not sure. Being an anarchist activist would be kind of silly, no? Music might not pay.

***You know what is funny, though?***
If I were free, and no one was after me--if I were free to work with my hands and build things and survive--it really wouldn't matter what I would be doing *for a living,* because **I *would be living.***

Think of how much less stress you would experience knowing that the worshippers of the murder death cult such as Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are now defused and defunct. The rejoicing silence of no drones flying over Pakistan.

Politicians now just pathetic and harmless invertebrates, amongst an army of lions. A society of free individuals.

Man. I feel this weight every day. I know kids are getting blown up. I know my food is being poisoned. I know children are being abused in Hollywood and D.C. **I know these people in positions of illegitimate power DO NOT GIVE A FUCK ABOUT ME OR MY FAMILY, FRIENDS, OR LOVED ONES.**

Us. The good ones--though we know we are not perfect--want for our babies to grow up strong in a world free from fear.

Without the state, there are very few fears, and they are, I daresay, "fair" ones. Children will still fall into wells. Bears may maul a man out hunting. Some people will still steal. There will still be fraud.

But.

**There won't be *this.***

There won't be pretending any more that any human defrauding another is honorable or moral.

A bear may maul a man, and we call this nature. A man mauling a man however, we call theft or murder. A man mauling a man and then calling it justice, we call "government."

This is the state. Cancer.
But, you know what?
It's on its way out.

**Let me know what *you* would do if you woke up tomorrow and the government was gone, in the comments below.**

Much love.
