After having a smallish burger at Jumbo King, I headed back to Indiabulls Finance Centre for some dessert. I didn't eat a lot at JK because I had already made up my mind to eat Banana Cake at Chai Point. This is something I can eat any day, any time and the addiction is quite similar to my addiction for Oatmeal and Raisin cookie at Pret a Manger in London. Banana Cake can be had anywhere I am sure but there's a unique flavour to this that makes it so different. 

Chai Point is located in Indiabulls Finance Centre, when you enter from Fitwala Road. It is just before security check point and very difficult to miss. 

The place serves bakery items mostly - puffs, patties, cakes and cookies and tea, many types that too.

I spotted what I wanted to have quickly and ordered. They warm it up a little which makes the cake more enjoyable.

I didnt waste any time eating the cake. 

What do i think? Well the place itselfis very well designed, sofas chairs, standing tables. The menu is simple and has most things to accompany a nice cup of tea. The variety of teas  while not imoressive is enough to meet everyone's desires. both hot and cold beverages are served at the premises. 

What I love about this cake is that no one flavour is overpowering, whether banana, cardamom or even sugar. It doesn't taste to buttery and the texture is beautiful. Warming the cake is warming up your heart to Chai Point so that you become a regular.

Th cake costs 85 rupees or 1.2 US$. 5 on 5 for both Chai Point and its Banana Cake
