If you love dumplings, Dehradun is a great place to try some authentic Tibetan food. I made full use of my time in Dehradun to go to both new and old Tibetan restaurants. One of them was Lhasa Tibet Kitchen. I had never been to this place so didn't know what to expect. The restaurant is located on Rajpur Roadz just before Mussourie bypass. It is a little difficult to locate so follow the google maps direction very carefully. Once we reached, I realized the place is just a large residential property with a massive garden that serves as both parking and outdoor seating area. As you can see, we went at time when the place was absolutely empty. This was around 5 PM and we were going for a late lunch. The great thing I like was that it felt like we were eating at home. Also being in garden is just so calming. Great concept and location I feel. The menu - My friend and I, we ordered one chicken momos, one mutton momos, chicken hot and sour soup, chicken manchow soup and he also asked for a coke. The food came in 15 to 20 minutes, which meant that it was made fresh. However, with the food also came some fat monkeys who scared us to go sit inside. The inside of the restaurant was dimly lit and seemed like a place for a date. The food was nice. portions very decently sized. What we had was enough to fill us up. The dumpling outer layer was thin and mytton had enough fatty juice. The decor was nice. I got a chance to lool at the kitchen. The place is quite clean and safe to eat at. The place can't do nuch to get rid if the monkeys but looking at how fat they were, they weren't bothered by the food so eating should be safe. I'll rate the place 5 on 5 on a scale of 1 to 5, 5being best. --------------------- ### Restaurant Information
Lhasa Tibet Kitchen [Rajpur Rd, IAS Officers Colony, Rajpur, Dehradun, Uttarakhand 248009, India](https://tasteem.io/post/44253#map) -----------------------------------------
[Lhasa Tibet Kitchen review - Brilliant food in the lap of nature](https://tasteem.io/post/44253) This post participated in the Tasteem contest [Your weekly choice ](https://tasteem.io/event/653)
[What is Tasteem?](https://tasteem.io/about) [](https://tasteem.io)
