**Hello Hivers** *Grindstone Creek* This conservation area is located right in the city of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. A nice oasis and escape from the city, with extensive flora, and fauna. Numerous deer, coyotes, beaver, are often seen, even a pair of bald eagles nest nearby. A lot of work has gone into the....  area, including a boardwalk to let your experience the entire marsh. There is even fishing, including rainbow trout and...  chinook salmon. It is part of the Greenbelt, a foundation that stewarts over 2 million acres of.....  the Provinces undeveloped land. It protects natural heritage, urban sprawl and helps to provide a .....  quality of life for the future. With a growing population, there is immense pressure to pave over or fill in swamps, so it a continual challenge. Thanks for joining me on this hike.
