Hola Hivers, me uno a esta interesante iniciativa donde acabo de retarme solo a compartirla con ustedes. Como muchos de nosotros, hace años utilizamos redes sociales convencionales (2.0) y en mi caso, las empleo a día de hoy para compartir artículos de mi web principal que creé en el año 2014 (naturalezatropical.com). También empleaba mucho estas redes con el fin de compartir parte de mi trabajo fotográfico y lograr atraer clientes para sacar un poco de recursos económicos de mi esfuerzo y conocimientos. Con la llegada de las criptomonedas al mundo y su implementación en ecosistemas como Hive, mis enfoques para compartir parte de mi trabajo han ido evolucionando muy rápido.

Like many of us, years ago we used conventional social networks (2.0) and in my case, I use them today to share articles from my main website that I created in 2014 (naturalezatropical.com). I also used these networks a lot in order to share part of my photographic work and attract clients to get some economic resources from my effort and knowledge. With the arrival of cryptocurrencies in the world and its implementation in ecosystems like Hive, my approaches to sharing part of my work have been evolving very quickly.

# Como descubro Hive / How do I discover Hive?

Hace un par de meses mi cuñado @manuphotos me habló sobre esta plataforma y sin dudarlo comencé a probarla. Siempre me comentó que el principal objetivo de Hive no era el sustento económico, si no eliminar las trabas de control que poseen las redes sociales convencionales y que te recompensen directamente tus seguidores y curadores por un buen contenido. Es lógico que las recompensas que uno obtiene por compartir el contenido siempre son un aliento para seguir publicando, aunque encontré en esta comunidad, un espacio para comunicarme de forma más cercana con los seguidores y compartir mis conocimientos y trabajo sin ningún tipo de censura. Durante años poseo espacios en Facebook con más 40 000 seguidores en donde mis artículos pueden no ser vistos por más del 85 % de ellos y es algo que siempre me ha molestado mucho. En Hive esto se acaba siendo posible que todos los que deseen seguir mis artículos los puedan ver sin depender de promociones monetarias abusivas. Esta plataforma ya forma parte de mi vida cotidiana y trataré de estar en ella todo el tiempo que pueda.

>A couple of months ago my brother-in-law @manuphotos told me about this platform and without hesitation I started trying it. He always told me that the main objective of Hive was not financial support, but to eliminate the control obstacles that conventional social networks have and that your followers and curators reward you directly for good content. It is logical that the rewards that one obtains for sharing the content are always an encouragement to continue publishing, although I found in this community a space to communicate more closely with the followers and share my knowledge and work without any type of censorship. For years I have spaces on Facebook with more than 40,000 followers where my articles may not be seen by more than 85% of them and it is something that has always bothered me a lot. In Hive this ends up being possible for everyone who wishes to follow my articles to see them without relying on abusive monetary promotions. This platform is already part of my daily life and I will try to be on it as long as I can.

## Expectativas / Expectations

Mis expectativas iniciales en esta plataforma han ido cambiando poco a poco con la nueva creación de la comunidad cubana [HiveCuba](https://peakd.com/c/hive-10053/created) en donde actualmente soy moderador. Esta comunidad fue creada con el apoyo de Aliento (muy agradecidos siempre) y mi cuñado @manuphotos con el fin de ayudar a que mis hermanos cubanos también compartan su talento sin censura y sean recompensados como merecen. Aliento ha sido un pilar fundamental en el desarrollo inicial de la comunidad y nuestras aspiraciones de crecimiento futuras. Entre mis expectativas principales en esta plataforma es crear contenido de calidad en comunidades afines a mis conocimientos. Mis trabajos fotográficos siempre estarán publicados esperando críticas constructivas por parte de las comunidades y seguidores. Además, publicaré contenido sobre viajes a la Naturaleza que con frecuencia realizo y resultados en mi especialidad botánica (principalmente la hibridación y cultivo de plantas ornamentales). Como moderador de la comunidad cubana, trataré de siempre ayudar a los nuevos cubanos que ingresen a la plataforma para que evolucionen rápido en ella.

>My initial expectations on this platform have been changing little by little with the new creation of the Cuban community [HiveCuba](https://peakd.com/c/hive-10053/created) where I am currently a moderator. This community was created with the support of Aliento (always very grateful) and my brother-in-law @manuphotos in order to help my Cuban brothers also share their talent without censorship and be rewarded as they deserve. Aliento has been a fundamental pillar in the initial development of the community and our future growth aspirations. Among my main expectations on this platform is to create quality content in communities related to my knowledge. My photographic works will always be published waiting for constructive criticism from the communities and followers. In addition, I will publish content about trips to Nature that I frequently take and results in my botanical specialty (mainly the hybridization and cultivation of ornamental plants). As a moderator of the Cuban community, I will always try to help new Cubans who enter the platform so that they can evolve quickly on it.

Me pareció genial esta iniciativa y por tanto quisiera retar a @chinoli a realizarla. Nos vemos en la próxima. Gracias nuevamente a Aliento.
