Its still very warm here, I have a fan on constantly to try and cool me down. The UK has had a few hosepipe bans to conserve water as haven't had much rain. Thankfully this changed that with a few heavy storms and black skies. <center> </center> The plants will be loving this downpour, they needed a good watering. If only the temperature would drop them I would be happy, having the fans on all the time is moving my electric meter to quickly, the cost of living crisis here is becoming a nightmare wuth the Gas and Electric bills rising over 125% we have to becareful with what we are using. I have been home for a couple of days now waiting for my hospital appointments. I've just wrote this when I recieved the first of many appointments an ultrasound on Thursday evening. I've been away from my granddaughter for 2 days but missing her, I need some Evie time and lots of cuddles. Whilst I was there we tried her out with her play mat and mobile but all she did was sleep. <center> </center> You can see in the top left corner her cat Plop is keeping a close eye on her, we thought she was keeping an eye on Evie but seems Plop has a likening for the play mat and mobile. <center>https://youtu.be/5pGdzkRTkqk</center> This was cute to watch but will have to stop or Evie won't be able to use it. Plop seems to like a few of Evie toys especially the ones that rattle. My daughter Jessica has been wanting to introduce Evie to my pups especially Geordie, he's the oldest and spent a lot of time with her. They dropped me off at the weekend purposely for this. Geordie was amazing with her, he wouldn't let my other 2 pups gets anywhere near her and sat staring at her for ages, he kept smelling her feet and hand. I don't think Evie was very impressed. <center> </center> Whilst I've been writing this post the weather here has got worse, the clouds are black with loud thunder and flashes of lightning, my pups are a little scared by the noise. I love Thunder and lighting, it clears the air and is very relaxing to listen to, or am I the only one that likes it. I have just received some bad news. I found a long lost friend on Facebook a few years ago, we hung around together when we were in Junior school and Secondary School, she moved to Florida soon after leaving school then never heard from her again until a couple of years ago. Sadly my dear friend has died, I don't know how yet as its still very raw for her family. I'm shocked and saddened with the news. She was only 3 months younger than me. Very sad news R.I.P Julie.
