I have seen so many ups and downs on here over the year I have spent on Steemit. We seem to get through them but the real problems never get dealt. I am no nerd or geek so don't pretend to know the workings of how this site works from the other end but I do know what I see how it is working from a writers view.

I haven't got the spare cash to invest in Steemit, *I wish I had* but I do invest a lot of my time on here, sometimes I spend all day on here Reading, upvoting, commenting and replying or I used to when I realised my hard work was not paying off. My 100% vote is worth a tiny 17 pennies, obviously not enough to attract attention. I may be wrong but sure the last Hard fork was to help share out the rewards pool. 

There are a few whales who are selling there vote for an amount of SBD, I have used this a couple of times but stopped a while back as I didn't feel right using them, *I am not complaining about people who do* what I am saying is ***WHY*** pay a whale more money for a job they should be doing anyway. Making them even better off at our expense.

I do like these accounts for readers to use for other members accounts. Someone reading your post and thinks its a good post pays a small amount to get yours noticed more then that is a massive benefit as users are thinking of others then.

I don't understand these bots, the ones that auto vote you, I use steemnow.com to see who is voting and every post I make there are a number of people who are obviously using a vote bot as every single post I make I get the same names one after each other voting with the exact same % for every post, doesn't matter if its a meme post or one I have worked hard on.  Does this mean they don't read my post, if not why not?

I have also noticed some bot votes are so low it gives you nothing, Then what's the point of leaving a vote.

I find these bots are taking the interaction away from Steemit, I used to talk to these voters quite a bit before they started using these bots now we don't interact at all. I still read there posts and vote normally. 

I totally appreciate every vote I get especially from the members that I interact with, the ones that take the time to read, vote and comment on my posts , *isn't that what we are supposed to be doing*
