  It seems that I have a fondness for mushrooms growing on tree trunks, and during today's walk to the forest, I found another nice specimen. This time they were numerous lumpy brackets (Trametes gibbosa). White, semicircular, shell-shaped mushrooms. *Wygląda na to, że upodobałam sobie grzyby rosnące na pniach drzewa i podczas dzisiejszego spaceru do lasu znalazłam kolejne fajne okazy. Tym razem były to liczne wrośniaki garbate. Białe, półkoliste, muszlowate grzyby.*  The mushroom above reminds me of a flower. White on the sides and pink in the middle *Ten grzyb powyżej przypomina mi kwiat. Biały po bokach i różowy w środku.  Like other fungi that I saw in the forest that grew on trees, the lumpy bracket also causes white rot and destroys it. *Tak jak inne grzyby, które widziłam w lesie i rosły na drzewach wrośniak garbaty również powoduje białą zgniliznę drzewa i je niszczy.*  Due to its shape, the lumpy brackets had a lot of leaves that had fallen from the tree. On the side they looked like containers. They probably collect some water after rain. They would be a nice, natural soap stand in the bathroom ;) *Ze względu na swój kształt na wrośniakach znajdowało się dużo liści, które spadły z drzewa. Z boku wyglądały jak pojemniczki. Pewnie po deszczu zbiera się na nich trochę wody.
