20.327 HBDOur Barracuda Lake Coron Island Adventure: One Of The Hidden Gems Of The Island.
 It's time for another adventure on the island. After our hiking to Mt. Tapyas, island hopping to Black Island and visiting wildlife in Calauit. We were excited that we will visit the beautiful paradise in Barracuda Lake. It's one of the famous spots on the island. Its is tucked with sharp limestones cliffs. People who go dive in its a magical underneath the lake. We started our day by having our breakfast in the hotel. After that we prepare ourselves and things. We need to be on time because the van will wait outside in the hotel and pick up other passengers that were together in the boat. We joined a boat tour that included Barracuda Lake. The weather is perfect. The boat ride from the town was beautiful. We really enjoyed it and it was not wavy. Its sunny day and the blue skies above and the crystal-clear blue water. It was an amazing adventure for us. <iframe title="vimeo-player" src="https://player.vimeo.com/video/1075309238?h=c11049537f" width="640" height="360" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> By afar, I saw the towering cliffs and we were really approaching the place. There are boats already in the area and lots of tourists.     When we finally arrived, Aya complains that she is hungry. If you have kids on trip don't forget to bring food. 😁 We just started our trip and she wants food. So I bought her to stay in the area because there were too many people and we let them go out first. We have time to take a pause and enjoy the view and Aya is enjoying her cookies.    When our tour guide calls us and its ready to climb. Yes, going to the lake we had to climb a short wooden staircase over sharp rocks around it. So better be careful especially we have Aya with us. I'm excitement and bit of nervous its not a long trek. Short but needed to be precautious. The limestone formations is amazingly beautiful. Going on a short track its a breathtaking and finally we reached the top. Take a chance to photo of the beautiful limestone formations.     My husband and Zoe started to dive. They were better swimmers than us. And I need to look for Aya and the water is too deep. No wonder that its one of the famous places in Coron Island. The clarity of water is so amazing, divers will love its unique experience in the lake. I really enjoyed the peaceful escape and I felt so magical. Finally I saw the beauty of Barracuda Lake. Bucketlist unlocked.  It's time to go and we don't like to leave. We needed to go to our next destination and part of our island tour adventure. For me, its not just a tourist destination. It was an experience for me. If your planning to visit Coron, Palmawan, make sure not to miss the majestic beauty of Barracuda Lake. Unforgettable adventure for me and my family.
