 Our family trip to create lasting memories. It's our first family bonding trip with my husband. He took us to the beautiful El Cavanico Il Mare Samal Island in paradise that gives us more memories and welcomed us with open arms.  This trip is all about getting to know my family, strengthening our bonding and making new memories. And its also about relaxation too. We share stories, laughter with my family. Were all excited for our adventure as we headed to the Port of Samal. It's ok that we came early and the anticipation grew when we started boarding the barge.  The blue sea breeze and good sunny weather is perfect for that day. Children's eyes are so excited and don't like to sit down and just watch the sea going to the island. When we finally arrive and we set foot on Samal Island it will be an unforgettable experience for us.   We wait for our shuttle van and its free going to the resort. Finally, the shuttle van had already arrived because we're all 25 people. We arrived at the resort and the staff checked everything about our bags. And then to the reception area for our room keys. We have an assigned room. 6 pax per room and another with an extra bed and all of us are excited to put all our things, see our rooms and go to the beach.   Our room.  It was pure of happiness when we saw the beach. The white sand, pool blue water, its our getaway to paradise. The kids go to swim and to make sure Aya is safe. I rent a life vest and then she can swim. She's still a small kid at that time and not a good swimmer. Better be safe than sorry. Aya has too much energy and play with us. Splashing water to everyone she saw. Her laughter radiants reminding us pure joy. Not just for her but for everyone too.     Its night time already and we have our dinner together. Aya doesn't like to remove her life vest and even to eat. Still wants to play in the water. She still have energy and others wants to recharge and eat our dinner. Because she don't like to listen to everyone. I get angry, need to remind her its dinner time and come back later. After our dinner in their restaurant. There's a fire dance and all of us were amazed by their talent. Its dangerous to play on fire. And not everyone have that talent.  After the show the live band starts in the Kino Bar area. The resort becomes lively. You can request a song or even sing on stage. And yes, our kids now even missed it. Then our kids decided to take the stage. Watching them makes us so proud parents. Their confidence and joy on stage made it more extra special to us. We will never forget the moment. They sing a song titled Titanium. Even Aya is wearing the life jacket. What a perfect night that our kids sing together. Of course, my aunties really enjoyed the night. They sing their favorite songs and dance too.     My other cousins do live streaming so other family members who are not with us can see it too. We cheered with them it was a moment we’ll never forget. We just enjoyed the night. We cheered, and danced the night away. It was a perfect night for all of us and happiness overflowed. The next morning, we were all so tight and wanted to sleep more. But our breakfast is included. We need to wake up before 9 am. But its all ok because the sound of the waves and sunny day is a perfect day to start our activities. Other kids go swimming and my aunties go for zumba. And I need to look for Aya in the pool.   Fast forward: We have our lunch. Every meal we have is filled with endless conversations , sharing of food and laughter. We cherished every moment we had.   We continued to explore the island. Some of it has its different things to do. Aya started to collect seashells, take photos, swim, buy some souvenirs and other things too.      At night it's still the same thing. Aya and Táto built sandcastles and made fun of Bless. They put sand on Blesses body. Kids has too much energy, never seemed to run out of energy and their happiness is contagious.      Our days on Samal Island come to an end. We took time to explore the resort, captured beautiful memories. It's not just photos that we have but we also store in our hearts. And the days we spent together would stay FOREVER. This is not just a vacation trip. It's more than that. Getting to know each other with my family, strengthening our bonding together and creating memories and well cherish FOREVER.   The day comes to an end. It's now time to go home. My family will go to Davao and travel to Cotabato City. And we will travel to Coron Island. Our hearts were full, reminding us that the best memories in life are spent with our family. My husband has so many memories in his heart because its his first time meeting my family and I have too many family members, unlike him only few. And he is so happy to meet them. How much more if he will visit my place. For sure his excitement is overwhelming. We want to spend it like this with my family. But its a question of time and you know money. But sure, we will be together soon. Creating another chapter together.       Aya cried because they were going home. This is the end of my blog for today. Our Samal Island trip will last 2022.
