Hello Errybunny! 

I hope everyone is doing good. 

So I did this artwork for one of my friends in Pretoria!

Basically these are just a step by step or kind of random pictures of how I drew his cat lol.

It’s really hard for me to actually draw anything these days because I’m still dealing with my crippling depression. 

When depression takes hold of you, your mind basically just becomes a pit of self loathing and hatered. 

And basically I didn’t get out of bed this week.  I didn’t want to do anything, but I think forcing myself to be artistic was a good step in the right direction of kind of getting out of bed. 


So ANYWAY, basically I scratched around with pencil then I got out my Sharpies. 

I did the gold with a BIC sharpie, surprisingly it came out really good. Sort of

The cat self I did with a mix of pen and a fine liner, the shading is with pen as I’m more comfortable shading with pen than markers.

This this was a really good attempt at getting back into the cartooning/animation style I am comfortable in drawing. 

I want to some day grow my style into a more comic book kind of style? 

We will see how far I get with that. I’ve been wanting to evolve my art style for years now lol.
