Stand up and fix STEEM's Voting Problem

# It's too much!
I am no expert but Steemit is about learning, experimenting, exploring, thinking and tampering with stuffs. From what I have seen, a majority of users must be observed and tamed for the growth of this platform.
If you're here on Steemit for the past 2 years, you would feel as if STEEM is on it's way to something big. It has a great economy, the possibility of dominating worldwide cryptos. Yet, it is not working as efficient as it should. Most users accumulating their very own votes instead of upvoting real contributors and good content posters.
# Making upvotes great again.
It's true that users would like to get the benefit themselves instead of giving it to others. Users prefer to avoid sacrifices and saves their votes for themselves. Even if a post is of high quality and good content, you'd think twice before giving your upvote. Refer to Steemit Whitepaper on page 28 and see how it's failing. Tipping or gifting someone doesn't mean anything if our votes are used on ourselves.
The thing is, it's useless going around and making campaigns to encourage users to change their voting pattern and promoting good contents. The solution should be rather simple.
The sacrifice should be the same on both side, that is upvoting yourself or giving your vote to other users.
# Everyone isn't a successful author, or at least not all the time.
Steemit should use more curation works. Most Steemians posts anything and gets to nowhere, usually promoting spam behaviours. Moreover, if an article is featured in Trending doesn't mean it's of good content. Do not fall into that illusion.
This is why we need a change. No matter what we do, users are going to make their best to maximize their inncome so the system should be balanced in sure a way to provide more curation so as to encourage people to vote and creators to post good contents. The point is, those with a big amount of STEEM POWER should gives more time to upvoting than writing their own posts and give themselves their votes. They should also avoid selling their votes.
