# What is Voxelus?

Voxels is the official currency of VR and the only form of money used inside the Voxelus Platform.

The Chairman of Voxelus is Halsey Minor, the founder of  CNET , Salesforce, Google Voice,  and also the Chairman of Uphold. There is also a  Foundation to expand the usage of Voxels for Virtual Reality. # What's the position of Voxelus in all blockchain projects?
Voxels has the 45th largest market capitalization of all cryptocurrencies. But on CoinGecko.com it just has the 127th position, as Voxels is just the cryptocurrency behind the Voxelus project, it is based on Litecoin and fully premined, there no need for ongoing development. Only the Voxelus Applications are the core, so the score on CoinGecko.com for Voxels does not make sense for the Voxelus project. 

# What's the price for Voxels?
Voxels is traded on 	Bittrex, Livecoin and Poloniex. The chart on Poloniex is,

Some days ago Martin Repetto the CEO of Voxelus [said on the Voxelus blog](https://medium.com/@mrepetto/how-voxelus-will-become-the-1-vr-content-destination-in-less-than-a-year-9feb45188c2a#.fguf4fqcj),
